PROJECT

Development of a standardized technology and analysis platform for unstructured big data to cultivate medical big data convergence professionals

 

MAIN DESCRIPTION

○ In the era of 4th Industrial Revolution, the lab sets its final goal as 'cultivating medical big data convergence professionals' and 'developing an open platform for integrating and utilizing unstructured medical big data" through medical field focused multidisciplinary ICT-based cooperation

○ Aims to establish a resesarch system for unstructured medical data and cultivate convergent professionals with major knowledge of industrial demand and ICT utilization ability, in order to maximize the value of big data usage and revitalize all industries using unstructured data

○ Proceed joint research tasks between small and medium-sized companies and universities, including development of AI learning models and educational systems

○ Develop necessary working skills required in industrial fields by supporting team-specific autonomous project progress, for planning creative topics using medical big data and acquiring actual analysis utilization methods

 

○ Goals of Research / Contents by particulars

[1st Particular] Training convergence professionals for the collection and utilization of medical video big data

- Training convergence professionals and leading the standardization through technology acquisition for the construction, management, analysis, and utilization of unstructured medical video data, and also consumer-centered utilization model construction, and consumer-tailored talent training, etc. 

- Establishing a foundation for data valueization which can be a source for medical staff training using AR/VR and AI industry, through informatization process of video medical big data

[2nd Particular] Training convergence professionals for collection and utilization of bio-signal

- Development, maintenance, improvement of Vital Recorder system, which is a biosignal collection platform

- Cultivating professional talents for managing and analyzing collected biosignal data

- Supporting interchange including workshops for enabling researchers' aggregation of data and proceed in manifold research

[3rd Particular] Training convergence professionals for medical service design, construction and practical use of health communication audio big data 

- Aggregation of emergency room multi-channel audio data using a microphone array

- Objective Structured Clinical Examination(OSCE), and collecting and utilizing student-standardized voice data

- Development of secured hybrid AI analysis system for AI education/resesarchers 

- A study on recommendation of AI-music recommendation customized to medical field users

[4th Particular] Development of an open platform for integrating and utilizing clinical unstructured big data

- Define data specifications for collection and integrated management of medical unstructured data

- Development of an integrated medical unstructured data management platform

- Development of a model utilizing integrated DB of medical big data

- Application of data encryption technology for de-identification of medical data

[5th Particular] Training of information protection professionals to collect and utilize surgicla video big data

- Educational support and research for information protection, de-identification, and policy expert training in the surgical video field

- Development of a standard model for distributed research network(DRN) for big data of surgical videos
